The York Society of Magicians is a society strictly for magicians and those with an interest in magic, we meet on the second Wednesday of every month and details of our open events are listed on the site. Closed meetings are listed in the members area.

The membership process involves initial application, this is a written form that will be sent out to you. You would then be invited for an informal interview with the YSM council. Following a successful interview you would then be invited to perform a formal audition before the members and secret ballot would then be held.

This all sounds very daunting, but the YSM members are a friendly bunch, so please don’t be put off.
