Since 1945 there has been in the city of York a society of magicians. They meet upon the second Wednesday of every month and engage in the greatest of the entertainments.....magic.

They enjoy a reputation as some of the wisest and most magical ladies and gentlemen in Yorkshire

No we’re not the society described in the book ‘Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke’ but we are a very modern thriving society of magicians.
