Close-up magic
Also called table or strolling magic. This is becoming an ever more popular form of entertainment.
Close-up magic is an extremely flexible and versatile form of entertainment for the venue. The magician can turn up and perform, there is no setting up of stage equipment and the performances can be adjusted on the spot to fit in with the running of the function.
For audiences Close-up magic offers an experience, an opportunity to suspend disbelief and feel wonder. Martin does not show Magic tricks, he performs Magical Entertainment.
The effects all use everyday objects and include themes of gambling, skill, comedy, the paranormal and mind control.
Martin also leaves guests or tables with a balloon sculpture. Not the usual dog, but with a cartoon style animal, motorbike or even a vacuum cleaner!
